2009 Maxwell Paper Products Winter Series flyerThere was just one class that had enough drivers to meet the 30 entry requirement for the additional $3,000 Maxwell Paper Products payout. Ten Senior Super Sportsmen who braved the bitterly cold sub freezing temperatures of Winter 1 and Winter 2  returned to compete for the lion's share of the sponsorship prize money. Competition was fierce between Stephen Symank and Mike Jones who went into the double header race on Saturday tied in points. There was a lot of very close racing begining with mulitple lead changes each lap between Symank and Jones. As the racing progressed Mike Jones who was right behind Stephen Symank got caught up in some incidents resulting in Symank winning the series championship and Jones placing second. Matthew Souza and Chris Abts tied in points for 3rd place points and Robert Preston won the 4th place purse. Stephen Symank, Mike Jones, Matthew Souza, Chris Abts & Robert Preston won $3,540 between them with a total of $5,730 total payout for the series.
