Greg,

Would any of those karts work for a beginning driver in the Sr Yamaha classes (heavy, SS, master), if so, would you be willing to separate?

Thanks,

Kevin Emmert

They all can be set up for the Senior or Master Yamaha classes. Each Kart is set up for a "can" class. The Master class for 32 year old and up was one of the bigger classes this year. Senior Super Sportsman is another option if younger and want to race with the all out group. Another option, though tougher on motors, is the Yamaha Heavy class which uses a tuned pipe for a bit more power. Personally the Master class is for me. Racing with folks closer to my age (almost 50)seems like the way to go and shows other adults that karting has a place for us.

Give me a call 817-690-4184 if still interested in a kart.

They need some general maintenance, carb seal kit, maybe ome fuel hose. And you'll need fresh MG tires. I have a ton of used tires for practice and some unused "no name" tires made to test the market by a tire manufacturer interested in tapping the market a while back. The karts will be sold for $1300 plus tax of course. I plan to remove them from sale and use them for my wife and myself this year if not sold very soon.

The good thing about the Yamaha is there availablility at reasonable cost. If one of these doesn't fit your needs I'm sure you can find one fairly easy. Which class of racing do plan?

I am brand new to the sport and I will be 15 in june. I plan to either race in junior super series... I think that's what it's called or in the new chonda series do you have any tips on how to get a kart?
