The NTK forums are a great way to find kart setups. Either from posts in replies like Michael's or in the classifieds section.
You might also check with our local kart shops, KAM Karting, and Precision.

Of course, when you get to the track for a race, you will find several people with karts for sale in their pits. That is a great way to check out the kart.

Craigslist can be good or very risky. If it is a local member selling their kart on craigslist, they probably also have it at the track on in the forums. If it is not a local member selling it on craigslist, it may be a bad kart, it may be a good kart, but not good for racing at NTK (wrong setup), or it might be a great kart. You will have to very diligent in checking out any kart you purchase.

If you decide on a class you want to race, contact the mentor for that class. They are listed on our website. They can help you with a list of criteria to checkout on a kart you want to purchase. Some of the things to check might really surprise you. Just don't rush it. Karts are always coming available. This is the end of the season, so alot of people will be selling karts to move to other classes, other chassis, etc. You should have alot to choose from.
