Classes at 1st race

I am considering getting my boy into Karting. I am looking through the flyer for the 1st race and trying to understand the classes that will be racing. What is Jr.1 Medium? I am looking through the rules and trying to connect the dots. Is it the same as Junior 1 - with one of the specific motors (Yamaha or Comer)? I think this is the correct class for an 8 year old that has no drivng experience?

Jim,
this is the correct. 8 year old would start in the Jr. 1 class. The medium has to do with the total weight driver/kart across the scales. If you need more help, go to the home page and click on the club info. tab. There is a list of mentors, one for each class. Give that mentor a call or email and I am sure they would be glad to help.
