It is Wednesday evening, it appears that I am still 7 workers short. It looks like 60 or so people have viewed this post, no volunteers. So when Friday at 4pm rolls around I will be left with a dilemma. Should we follow what our rules say and call the race 24 hours in advance if worker positions are not filled. Or roll with it and hope Saturday afternoon that we can BEG for workers and put on the race, be it workers at each position for the night or use a worker rotation. Or the final option of racing the short track, now that would be interesting. Bring your big rear gears, and small front drivers. Only time will tell!!!

Hey Mike, Lisa here. Since I have signed up to work the past THREE races what is one more? I talked with Lori since she was signed up for two positions and I will do registration for her. Sure would be nice if I did not NEED to work so many races. So many race with all the same faces......

Do volunteers have to be members?
I have a 12:30 tee ball game in Richardson and might be able to make it out there in time.

You do not have to be a member to help out with the race. You can also assign points & work credit to your favorite driver/member. Should be no problem to get there as the drivers meeting is at 5:30pm and racing around 6:00pm. Can we put you on the list for a corner?

Okay!
Based on that, I should have no problem getting there in time.
So, put me down for whatever position you need.
But, I've only been to 1 race (spectator), so I'll need some coaching.
I will eventually get the membership, but if this will not go towards
that credit, I completely understand.
Just looking forward to be around the racing.
