Track Repaving/Fall Racing Update

At this week's board meeting, the board discussed the track repaving and how to address racing this Fall. They determined that the schedule was too tight and too uncertain to make it fair to the racers to continue with having a Fall race series.
So, it was decided that the Summer 6 race will mark the end of the 2009 Championship Points series. Please make sure that you plan your work points and racing appropriately.

There will be racing this Fall, but it will not be for the points series. Instead the membership tasked the board with determining some options. They have come up with 3 options that will be voted on by the club members at the September club meeting.
We will publish those options in coming days as they are written up in a nice format.

We appreciate your understanding as we move forward with offering you a nice, new and smoother surface for racing. We think the upcoming races will be quite exciting.
