NTK is now open for practice this Wednesday through Friday. It will be closed this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, for the YSR motorcycle race.

Everyone, get ready for a really different track! We went out yesterday for some practice and to try a change in setup. The new surface has a lot of grit that gets picked up on the tires, and covers everything. The tires are covered with this grit and the tires get extremely hot. The surface is extremely slick due to the grit coming loose. We were running 47's in a Chonda, and some KT100's that were also there were running in the 50's! They were spinning out trying to lay-down power coming out of the corners and the gunk covering thier tires was much more extreme than the Chonda's. Hopefully once the grit is worn off, the track will be better but right now, it's uh, interesting. Should make for some (unintentional)sidepod-rubbin' racing!
