Sundays Spring 2 was awesome!!!!
by James Freeman » Sun Mar 22, 2009 9:52 pm
If Sundays race is any indication of the future, 2009 is shaping up to be a banner year at NTK!! Spring 2 provided some very exciting, close and most importantly smart racing. All classes were very disciplined and despite the close racing this afternoon, there was very little contact. Drivers did an awesome job!!
We must thank all our workers as well. They volunteered and allowed today’s race to happen. All of you performed extraordinarily!!
Thanks to all!!
Jim

Jim,
You and your crew did a fantastic job! It was great racing, and was really nice to get away at a descent hour. Nicely done.

Jim again great job by you and all the volunteers. All challange race days should end by 6:00pm. I appreciate your communication with myself and others on combining classes.

We had a blast for our first race! Thank you to Jim and everyone to make this go so wonderfully for all! All of our guest who came to watch Hunter's first race were very impressed with the organization and the family atmosphere. Our photographer friend really enjoyed being out there, too!
We are so looking forward to the next race!
Thanks,
Scott and Lori Stine

1.1.2 RACE DIRECTOR: shall be charged with executing, ***at his discretion***, ALL technical and non -technical rules in this manual including committee rulings. Known violations may be enforced by the Race Director without a protest by a competitor. All decisions are final and may only be protested at the track to the appropriate racing committees. If not enough workers are available, the Race Director shall decide to run the short track in the forward direction, ***recruit workers available from registered drivers*** or cancel the race.
Don't know how much more flexible a rule can get than this. I think that Jim was well within the rules.
