width of rear tires
by Bobby Torres » Mon Mar 23, 2009 7:22 pm
Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the rules say about the maximum width the rear wheels can be on a Jr. 1 cadet kart. I can't seem to find it in the rules book. We are trying to loosen up Cordero's kart. We have moved the rear wheels out but I don't know how far out I can go and stay within the rules. Anyone???

Bobby,
I "think it's 54 inches max, but I will have to get the KART rulebook to be sure.

I'm so tired of waiting on the doctor to release me to go back racing.
I miss driving something fast.

Thanks Dan and George. We are experimenting with this to free up Cordero's kart. Will see how it works out. Thanks again guys.
