Saturday Morning Kid Kart Practice

For all of the kid karters who need some practice please come out. I will be out there by 8:30 and would like to get some practice time with other karters on the track.

We are sorry to not be helping on the work day but, we need to practice to get started racing.

Brandon,

The track is closed to practice on work days until the work is completed.

John Ray & the work day crew will be working on the track at turn 2 - digging & trenching & redoing some wiring for the lights that we have to have for the night racing.

A work day usually lasts till noon or 1pm but if we only have a few people turn up it could last all day.

All members are invited to meet at the track on Saturday at 9am. Bring a shovel or a sharp shooter. The more people we have come out to help the shorter the work day will be and the sooner everyone can get on the track to practice.

Thanks Yaani-Mai,

You are correct about closing the track on the morning of the work day. For anyone interested in meeting us at the track they will close the track when they start digging the trench for the light post. I did get this information from the membership meeting last night so if we get there early, we can get some time in before the track is closed. Once the track is closed we can all help out where ever needed.

Early is the best time to get kid karters on the track. Especially starting out, the kids get spooked by the faster karts and it is harder to teach them the line.
