Rotax question about RPM's after power band.
by Alex Cruz » Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:38 pm
Hello all. I have a question. On the long straight portion of the track I hit the power band but it seems that right after it hits it platoes kind like if it had a governor that keeps it from going faster or keep the power going. Any ideas? Shoul I move the exhaust red valve to open? It's on lower level. Thanks.

Alex, there could be several things that could cause this. The most common are jetting and gearing. By looking at your kart and the MyChron I can narrow it down and help you get over that "hump". Just give me a call if you'd like help and we can discuss the details.
Thanks,
Mark
