I'm a member of ECR and I have two daughters that wanted to get out on the track too. Motorcycles were a no go because of insurance. Karts on the other hand were no problem. So we picked up a pair of Rotax Karts from DKC.
I'm new karting. I spend my time riding motorcycles and doing track days so this is all new to me. Luckily it looks like these Rotax engines are pretty easy to maintain. Only tricks seems to be finding the right jet to use for the day and keeping the battery charged.
Here is from yesterday:

At this point I'm not sure if they'll want to actually race. I suspect they will, but thats up to them.

Jake, how old are your drivers? We are trying to build the Rotax classes out here, we have a few showing up. Most of the kids have only a few races under their belt so the competition is good among them. I’m sure your kids will fit right in. Our next race is July 7.
