NTK Rotax Challenge Series Rules

All Rotax rules will be in effect with the following local option exceptions. If you plan to participate in the USA Rotax Nationals, or Pan American Rotax Max Challenge races be aware that all Rotax rules will be enforced.

Mojos tires are required, but not new. No Parc ferme,  Race on tires you qualify on. 
Micro Max & Mini Max: Front & Rear MOJO D2 slicks 4.50x10-5
Junior, Senior, & Masters Max: Fronts Slicks MOJO D2 4.50x10-5, Rear Slicks  MOJO D2 7.10x11-5 
DD2:
Front slicks MOJO D3 4.50x10-5, Rear Slicks MOJO D3 7.10x11-5 

MicroMax will use spec gear of 14x73 

MiniMax will use spec gearing of 13x82  

Full rear bumper required on all karts 

Any Rotax clutch, but must have new needle cage (632415) and O-ring (950815), steel clutch must use steel balance shaft gears.

Any Rotax cylinder  

Must be sealed engine (If sealed before April 1,2008, one seal allowed. If sealed after April1, 2008, two seals are required).  

Battery must be YUASA YT7B-BS    

Any Rotax Air Box 

Must have passport and Rotax License.  

Fuel - VP93 

Oil - Motul 8002T, Ratio: 32:1 to 50:1 

Entry Fees:  
NTK Member Entry Fees (includes Entry and Driver Insurance Pass): $54 
Non-Member Entry Fees (includes Entry and Driver Insurance Pass): $69

Race format:
5 minute qualifying (may qualify with club Rotax classes if necessary), 8 lap Pre-Finals, 16 lap Finals.
