THE CHICANE
At the membership meeting on June 13, 2024, there was extensive conversation about member concerns about the chicane. As an immediate action, the decision was approved by the membership to remove the current tall exterior curbs in the chicane.

THE TRACK IMPROVEMENT & EXPANSION PLAN
After years of planning, track expansion is within reach. The 2024 Track Improvement and Plan was presented to the membership and is available for member viewing in the Portal.
A vote for the 2024 Track Improvement Plan includes: Accessibility Improvements, Track Resurfacing, AND the opportunity to raise enough money for Track Expansion. Also, if a chicane modification is selected by the membership, it will be incorporated into the resurfacing tier of the project.
We have fundraising ideas -- and believe that the amount needed is achievable without impacting membership fees, racing fees, and not going into debt.
Next steps:
VOTE: voting on the Track Improvement & Expansion Plan will be available from June 13 - June 20. 1 vote per family (Annual and Lifetime Memberships). Link sent to the master member email.
DONATE: Fundraising efforts will begin immediately. If the plan is not approved, money raised will be earmarked for future track improvements.
