I'm a newbie so I am trying to figure out all the lingo that is being used here on the forums. When looking at the different Kart Classes, I see a reference to total weights but have no idea how much a typical Kart would weigh.
With a Sr chassis and a Yamaha 100 what would be a typical weight for this setup?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: References to Weights
The SUPER SPORTSMAN weight with you and the kart is 340 lbs. minimum.
Yamaha Masters is with can at 340 lbs / 360 lbs if using a pipe.

Re: References to Weights
Just to add on to what Bob said, the average weight for the chassis with engine is around 150 lbs. So you can use that as a guide for how much lead weight you'll need to add to your kart for the given class.
