Re: Lunch with Anthony ??
Hi George,
I think someone added an event on the NTK Google calendar instead of their personal Google calendar by mistake. I have deleted the lunch date from the NTK Google calendar. If you find out where it is let me know, I'd like to go to lunch too, Lol!

Re: Mentor - Beginner Help
Hi Brad, Sorry about the old 2017 rule information on the website. I just archived the old 2017 rules articles & posted a new article on the Home page with a link to the 2018 NTK Rulebook and also a list of the 2018 rule change highlights. I just take care of the website so I'll let someone else ans...

Re: 2018 Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall Series Worker Sign-up
We are trying a new volunteer sign up form this year. Post here if you need help with signing up for a position.
Thank you Lisa Williams for suggesting we use a volunteer sign up website to make it easier for our volunteers to signup and easier for the race directors to manage the race day staff.

Re: New To Karting, Need Some Direction:
Nazaaw, The article is correct. It takes skill to get a fast lap time in a lower horsepower (4-cycle or KT100) kart. It is all about being a smooth driver & keeping up your momentum through the turns. If you learn to drive in a lower horsepower kart you will be a better driver when you move up to a ...

Re: Clone Engine Help
You're welcome. Gene wrote those break-in procedures & gave them to people when we started the class a couple of years ago.

Re: How do I mount a seat?
I think Gene puts large tubing over the seat struts to gently bend them rather than use a hammer. Let me check with him & I will post back if he has any other tips.

Re: New to karting
Paul, Please come to the track and see what classes are run & talk to racers in the different classes to see which class you might be interested in. Yamaha & Chonda are great classes to start out in. Both have large fields with plenty of other racers to race with. Which one depends on your budget & ...

Re: What tires can I run?
Matt, My sons used to race in club & challenge Rotax classes & they would split the classes up with a class or 2 in between. This meant that we had to change wheels between heats. I haven't seen anyone do this lately. They seem to either run the club or challenge, usually not both. Maybe Bob can che...

Randy, I don't think we have anyone racing in TAG Junior.
Reed Flores used to race in that class but he moved up to the TAG Sr class.

Wayne, I meant to specify clutch at the rules meeting to keep costs down but forgot! We use this one http://www.arcracing.com/servlet/the-19/centrifugal-drum-shoe-clutch/Detail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Not sure if we have any more for sale. I posted that over a year ago. Probab...
